Why don’t you put a Perpetual motion charging system in a vehicle, and there will not need to be so many batteries required to run the car? This will increase the mileage of a vehicle to the point that we do not need a recharge.

I think that a fairly natural market for this vehicle is as the family second vehicle. The fairly predictable one or two person commute with a consistent distance should work well with an electric vehicle. The primary vehicle could be larger and conventionaly powered, allowing for less predictable travel disances and larger loads.

iMiEV ... good job Mitsubishi ... safety and speed are the conflicting items, just make the body more "inflatable raft" and keep the AC motor for better speed and power / battery, control.

Sell it at the normed out level of a comparable gas powered auto - $23k will be the magic mark, lose a few peso's to build a loyal clientel.
