I live in Oxford and am able to commute on a bike path by the River Thames. It's quicker than the bus and helps you keep fit. It's also good for the environment in many ways. I wish more people cycled to work the problem in Oxford is that there are so many buses I think it puts off other cyclists. Nice blog btw I love cycling to work. Here in the greater Boston area there's tons and tons of roads with potholes or other issues that greatly hinder their value to bikers. With all the extra bikers on the road this week, perhaps it'll cause the issue to gain greater importance in public offices. I don't commute at the moment since I've been <em>successfully</em> unemployed for two months now but I did just buy a bike about a month ago for getting around town and love it. Reminds me of being a kid again and it feels like I'm actually independent and free now, where as driving was a chore and an imprisonment inside yet another little box.
