As for walking vs. driving, just last night we walked to the store for milk and mail instead of drive. In my little town there isn't much to walk to, and walking just about anywhere else is going to be a 5+ mile trek or much longer. But for little errands like that, it isn't wacky. I don't want to have to go find the stupid car keys just for a gallon of milk. Barack Obama is definitely NOT my hero, but of the two weevils running for the job right now, he may be the lesser.
