Surprising, but those little furrin sports cars weren't as great on gas as it looked like they outta be. At least on the older ones, really crappy carburation and really low gearing were the culprits.
Were I to want to make a sipper outta one I'd go modern heart transplant, say, geo or honda, with decent gearing too.
