I've got almost everything I need to build myself a new set of bike lights. I have decided to go with HID since it seems to be the most light for the least work and money.
Here's my question: All things being equal (lens, reflector, etc.), will a 12v, 10w bulb, be about twice as bright as a 6v, 10w? It seems that my costs and labor for either is about the same, so which is the better value?
