I just installed the ScanGaugeII. My Volvo S70's OBD port is under the center armrest. The SC's cable props up the armrest in an awkward manner.

Has anyone successfully relocated their OBD2 port in an S70, or any car?

Is this a big deal? I am willing to try it, but don't want to disable our only car.

In the meantime, I have removed the armrest, leaving a gaping uncomfortable hole in the front center. My wife asked me "WTF?"
