ever reach a happy spot?

in mpg terms.
i drive 130 mile round per work day in my truck.
18 gallon gas tank, 16 gallon fill up, on the gauge is below the "E" on the fuel line. no low fuel light either

so i get 390-400 miles on my 3 days to work (depending on route).
so average fill up is 15 gallons = 26mpg-27mpg.
that is my happy spot. cause to squeeze another day out of a tank is 520 miles on a tank at minium, at 16 gallons is 32.5 mpg.

i dont think my 4x4 is capable of that. best tank ever was 30.5 mpg. i cant hit 29 since tire change and air filter change( amsoil- wix).

so i find my self aiming toward 27 mpg, so i can get 3 days to work out of this thing.

have any of u reached this point?
