Oops, I lied above - B2's came in DX/LX models, Stds had B1's, HF's had SOHC 8 valve (B6 or B8, can't remember which.) and 90-91 EX had A6, along with Si models.
(EX was Sedan trim only, Si was CRX/Civic Hatch trim, DX was all three, HF - CRX, LX sedan only, Std Hatch only.)
I was just remembering a thing I did for someone because he didn't have enough money to buy the B2 engine, but the guy actually gave him the "Garbage" B1 engine. Swap the cam, and you've got a B2, since that's the only discernible difference in the two.
