It's easy to show a concept electric car, and I bet we'll see a lot of them at Frankfurt this week. Being able to do one EV conversion isn't a big deal for a carmaker. However, being able to bring an EV to market profitably requires waiting for affordable, dense batteries to arrive.
The most interesting thing here is the fact that it looks like an R8, rather an an A4 or a Lupo. So it's presumably fast, loaded with more Lithium batteries than a Tesla, and extremely expensive.
