I could do flex pipe if it could hold pressure, but it's a bit expensive. I think I'll go w/ the Al if the hardware store has it for a decent price since it's probably easier to make a bead, and if not the galvanized steel, since it should only be about $10 or so and provide protection against anyone w/ a pocket knife.
