By the way, I don't know why I didn't think of this! Fran suggested that since you are using a starter motor, you could change the current limit by looping the wire through the LEM. For example, 500 amp current limit, 1 loop. hehe. That's not even a loop! For 100 amp current limit, 5 turns of wire through the LEM. For 50 amp current limit, 10 turns of wire through the LEM.
