Rolled galvanized sheet...what should I offer?
'Kay, so I headed down to the local scrap yard for the purpose of getting metal for an underbody tray...also, perhaps to make more permanent versions of the grille blocks I currently have in blue foam.
Nobody who would give me a quote was there (too late), but I saw some of their "choice" scrap out front. In addition to a few stainless "surgical scrub sinks," I spied (I'm guesing) 4'X10' of rolled, galvanized steel...probably 26ga. (much thicker and it couldn't be rolled).
So, I'm unfamiliar with scrap costs. I imagine they'll want more for this, simply because it's (relatively) unmolested, but can anyone hazard a guess at price?
