Nice, very clever. I assume it;s the same material that is used for protection from chips on the paint?
It was the rage several years ago. The edges tend to get dirty from the residual glue. Also it tends "weather" get's a darker shade. also it is IMPOSSIBLE to remove after 6-8 months.
But you achieved what is the fundemental concept of blocking. THe air never knows there is a block. perfect flow with the existing body lines
And you picked up the most qualitative aspect.....nobody can tell!!!

ADDED: here are my side mirrors today. I had bought the whole deal (entire front bumper) to protect against nicks) it was a pain to install so I did the side mirrors only. It's been 2 years and you can see my efforts to 'peel" it off!!
