Hi,

My first trip with a deliberate eye on economy was on Thursday - 200 mile round trip from Edinburgh to Newcastle (UK - A68). Road is 2 lanes, some trucks and lots of hills. Kept my speed down to at or under 60 mph which is the limit but my usual speed is above that overtaking where I can. During the journey I still passed a Subaru WRX whilst keeping under 60 - he was scared of speed cameras.

I haven't measured yet but my tank is still 1/2 full and my trip mileage is around 305. Normally I refuel at just around 1/8 of a tank and struggle to get 400 so I think this has had an effect.

It was still fun too.
