Sorrow,on page 62 at top,Fig. 10 shows a better detail of the flow separation over the backlight and trunk.
This is where I'd spend my time.
Subaru has done a really comprehensive job with the fore-body,and no doubt it could be improved,but you'd have to do some drastic surgery and with the envelope wrapped very tight as it is,it would be a major deal.
The smoke trace will show you exactly where to mod,essentially bringing the body up to the smoke.That's all Kamm did.
