Yeah that 70 mpg number is a real snafu!
This thing could break 100 mpg EASILY.
If TDIs with over twice the displacement and vehicle weight can crack 60 mpg without breaking much of a sweat than 70 mpg with this thing would be disastrously disappointing. If somehow VW is listening, I want mine with ~1.3L engine and ~100 HP. I will give up 10 mpg for some serious driving fun.
