I'm glad my car has ABS, airbags and seatbelts. The last two let me walk away from a car-totaling crash with a few scrapes. The first would likely have lessened the severity of the crash, or let me avoid it completely. I'm a pretty average driver, and have been mainly thankful for ABS letting the car stop instead of skid a number of times.

Now stability control and traction control may be nice to have, as long as they have an "off" switch when I want to hoon the car in a large, empty, snow-covered parking lot.
