.....if you discover that the junker 85 Maxima you bought 3 months prior doesn't have a belt on the water pump and you didn't overheat the thing somehow....

Turns out the power steering pump shared a belt with the water pump, and the PS pump was rusted solid. Had to make a idler pully setup from extra parts on the car and completely reconfigure the belt configuration to make sure the water pump and alternator both were hooked up. Ended up getting the ac working too. Turned out the ac switch was broken so i wired in the crusie control on/off switch to operator the compressor. Boy that car was a hunk of junk and abused, but we loved it!
