As for the "fun" part - I don't find riding my Pirate Bike around town "fun". Pleasant, perhaps. The last time I had "fun" doing errands on my bike was when I borrowed the recumbent BikeE.
But... FINALLY it's bike riding weather here! The EV will soon be relegated primarily to rainy day duty for local trips. I was out in shorts on the bike this afternoon doing errands. Woo!
