I'm reusing the hf transmission as well, I would use my dd, but then I might be without transportation if everything doesn't work immediately. Also it seems advisable to upgrade the brakes when just about doubling power. Don't know about the vacuum canister/ vacuum lines, I've got all the newer ones from a junk car so I don't have to try and make the old stuff work.
