I skateboard 2-4 times a week. Skateboarders do not belong on the road. On average a skateboard rides at about a jogging pace. This is much slower then traffic (even bicycles). Plus if something happens wrong the board can flick out into traffic.
That guy needs to get on the sidewalk or ride a bike.
