Philly aside, a radio station offered 98 free tanks of gas to the first customers at a station in town. The Police had to cut the promotion in half because of the aggressive blockages from both directions. Local traffic came to a halt and arguments ensued. Kept the PD busy for a while until they pulled the plug.
I've been to 'Illy many times (stayed on the Jersey side) -- take it as a compliment that people are "passionate" about their lives. I leave it here: the Eagles' stadium is the only one with with an inhouse jail, in the NFL. I digress..
With work, it took a while to crack into the personalities of the folks I worked with. When I did -- I found truly genuine folks that cared about their work -- I do miss working there. Hard to fly to/from. OK, I'm rambling again...
