its way too loud for a drive gear. it sounds more like the flywheel teeth are rubbing on something when the sound comes. It sounds like putting a card on the frame of your bike so that it can flick through the spokes of the wheel so you can sound like a harley. Im thinking the throwout bearing is not sitting on the clutch fingers or the flywheel is rubbing on the bell house. both sound the same for the two CX/VX trannies that ive had in.
