I would agree that the Injectors should be tested and rebuilt if necessary. I don't get any smoke except when starting. My mileage is pretty good considering. I

have been working on the car regularly. Trying to undo the years of use. Some of the issues that I thought I needed to fix have been pushed back as other more urgent things were discovered. I am quite surprised at how inexpensive parts are.

It is running better than stock right now and way better than it ran when I got it. It sounds like your old tractor when it is idling. Kind of an endearing sound.

It has pretty good traction on our clay road in the wet. I am going to get new snow tires for it and run them all year as I have done with the VW.
