I haven't seen any Leaf's on the road either, but I'm pushing for more older, used electric cars in my area, one other guy owns one like mine and my parents own/use a converted VW Golf.

A month or so back I checked on the number of Volt's sold, after seeing a hand full of them driving around town, there has been one sold in the USA for every 15,000 people, I live in a city of 15,000 people in a county of 30,000 people and there are 4 Chevy Volts that I regularly see in town, Wisconsin was also one of the last states to have the Volt sold here, right around one year ago, almost a year after California, so the fact that there are 4 times as many Volts in town as the national average is pretty impressive to me.
