I did some number crunching today, and found that the fairing is almost small enough to ship UPS. minus the full sides, it will ship without issue. with the sides removed, and nested inside the fairing it will still ship. if I get creative, I might even get a fairing, and a boattail trunk into one box. according to the UPS website, the shipping charge will remain the same for up to 150lbs, so I can include the headlight, windshield, mirrors, and such without shipping penalty so long as they fit inside the box. shipping charge to California is estimated at about $250 which I would consider not too bad for a complete fairing setup.
