One day I was in my garage and noticed the old bug shield I found months ago and decided to try it because it looked like it would work if I trimmed it and it did.I think it's made of plexiglas but if was to buy the material I think I would use Lexan ,it's less brittle. I wanted to still use my foglights if necessary and so far no problems. Chumly
