And now the reworked version
Without a true-length X-ray look in the side elevation view,it appears that the diffuser angle might be a bit steep.
The lowest drag versions are no more that 2.5-degrees,and the higher drag version is limited to 4-degrees.
I constructed a 'fast' diffuser for Bonneville,based upon a Mustang GT of the 1980s,only to discover that it produced unwanted drag,which was resolved in the short term with cardboard and duct tape.
Closing the opening down,and relaxing the up-swept angle allowed a speed record and mileage above 60 mpg from this single modification.
