Aha. I had heard of this before - I didn't know you could "spoof" it.

I assume you are limited in regen to putting current only into the original Toyota NiMH pack? Or can you regen into your boost pack also?

I'm envious of your project - felicitations! Since I scrapped my "around town" converted EV this year, I miss it. A project like this would suit me nicely.
