Like I said, the show is entertaining. Some of their points are more sound than others, but the best thing about BS is its challenge to the status-quot.

Recycling a product is not beneficial if the material is abundant, and can be manufactured new with a lower energy consumption.

Recycling is often good, but not always good. If the materials gained from recycled goods was so valuable, why am I paying a mandatory $4.89 per month for the service? Someone should be paying me for the goods.

The fact that I have to pay someone to remove an "asset" fails the logic test.
