The EFEs might help reduce carburetor icing. But then again I do believe they are only for start ups. If you have carb icing I would think you'd need either a heat riser system or a heated air cleaner that pulls warm air off the exhaust (or an air-cooled head as in my case). My engine has dual heat risers and a heated air cleaner. But you can do a search on them. Looks like they run $100 USA and up. The non-heated Jet-A-Vator runs about $60 to $90.
