Something to consider: Consequences of automatic transmission "over-heating" because it's cooling assembly is located in the bottom of the radiator assembly...ie: operating for long periods of time close to maximum permissible coolant temperature can/might "over-heat" the transmission fluid...leading to transmission problems.

Addition of a transmission fluid temperature gauge or sensor might be prudent.
