Don't think your Metro is toast just because the frame is rusting out above the lower control arms...You can fix it with a little sheet metal and a welder. I can weld but my dad's friend has been at it quite awhile longer, so I took him up on the offer to help. The job was completed in 3 1/2 hours, including clean up.
