The biggest thing with IMA is to use it it 1st and maybe 2nd gear then forget it exists for extra power, downshift for power, stay away from IMA boost and your battery will last a lot longer.

My battery must be pretty healthy, I've done some 4-5000ft ascents with heavy assist and it has made it to the top with charge left.
