I'm a 2nd gen owner, so don't take my word for it, but I believe the '03-'04 3rd gens don't have any extra emission stuff and don't have a "cleaning injection event". That would only be needed for a DPF, right?

The '04.5 and on trucks add a cat, in which case I'm not sure if extra fuel needs to be dumped in to clean it or not.
