Yep... I'm going to do some testing with my current battery once I fill up with gas again in a few weeks... I only drive 6 miles to work one way, so i really doubt the short round-trip will dip it all that much. Especially now that I don't need to use headlights and warmer weather. I'm going to order LED headlights soon... I think I'll just run without the alternator and charge the battery up at the house at night. I'll keep my alternator on and keep the belt and tools in my spare tire area in case I need to put it back on if I get in a pinch.
I'll likely switch to a larger marine battery soon.
