I made a visor for my ScanGauge out of sheet aluminum. It looks like it's obscuring the gauge from this angle, but when you sit in the driver's seat it points straight at your eyes and doesn't cover the gauge at all. The purpose is to stop the gauge from leaving a reflection on the windshield.
I had one already that was made from a piece of black plastic, but when it started to get hot a month ago the plastic one melted and became all deformed.
