FWIW ,, on another forum that specializes in the LS grandchildren engines from GM, the FIRST mod on the newer ones is to disable the Variable displacement system. Its been tagged with serious engine wear issues (Again... Remember Northstar?) The un-powered cylinders wear out rings too fast.. And have piston scuffing issues.. For about 800 bucks HPtuner would let you play all you wanted with how it runs..
