Dump the clutch
Ecky: Inexperienced Insight drivers tend to ride/slip the clutch at gear shifts. You can not get much assist riding the clutch. To take advantage of the assist, you must floor the pedal to call for assist and dump the clutch when you shift. It takes a while to learn how much pedal/assist you require and to cease riding the clutch. Your MPG will improve with skill.
