Yes, it was the red/blue sign before it got painted. I'm not exactly sure if it does anything aerodynamicly but it's worth a shot. It's more of a splash guard fer the wheel pant lettering since the tire will have a tendency to kick stuff up off the road and abrade the wheel pant tail. You can see what it did to the forner wheel pant splash guard lettering that's mounted above the tire.
I have about 6 miles on the new configuration. Nothing scraped or crumpled when I backed out of the driveway at the new house.
