We had a 3.0 subaru legacy outback. Use to get 31 imperial mpg cruising at 75 mph with no mods. 1st thing i would do after reading on subaru onwers web page is increase tyre pressure by a minium of 4psi as subaru setting is too low. Then usual things tune up grille block etc etc.
