If you can get this kind of mileage in an oversized pig of a car such as this with a Corvette engine, imagine what GM could do with a lighter, smaller Corvette if they actually cared about fuel economy. I thing 60 mpg in a V8 is possible.
Awesome build. Next step might be to swap in a Duramax.
