I always put the mirror back on for inspection!

The last time I completely filled the tank, I lost an estimated 2 gallons.

It has worked for me every time...

I'm not sure if I'll fix the tank. I have other cars without rust that I should be working on!

Good question. I replaced the tank with a new OEM part back in 2006. And I put a used filler neck in it a few years later. Both parts are now discontinued. The car was really living up to my username the last time I completely filled the tank. Stunk up my whole yard. I never saw it dripping, but based on how fast the gauge dropped, I lost about two gallons somewhere. It still hisses when I remove the gas cap. I have no idea how it can hold air but not liquid.
