I have never posted about SO2 before, because it's too easy to track.
Plus it looks like those charts only go to about 2010, which was the middle of a world wide economic slow down.
Less economic demand, less energy use, less pollution.
Looks like Indias use of energy and likely their growth exploded right through the world wide slowdown like it never even happen as far as they are concerned.
If India stayed on that course they have likely caught up to the US, may even surpassed us.

China is destroying their environment to go green, kind of ironic.
1984 chevy suburban, custom made 6.5L diesel turbocharged with a Garrett T76 and Holset HE351VE, 22:1 compression 13psi of intercooled boost.
1989 firebird mostly stock. Aside from the 6-speed manual trans, corvette gen 5 front brakes, 1LE drive shaft, 4th Gen disc brake fbody rear end.
