Took it out for a normal trip and difference is night and day. Niky and red devil you where on right track. Engine under tray was holding to much heat in engine bay. Now need to change airflow around engine and probably air intake. Engine temp guage was slightly lower power well up. Had to overtake a lorry and trailer kick down is very quick on part throttle and revs to 5500. That equates to 76mph in third. Mid range pulling power is improved. Now wondering if even longer intake will help bottom end on a very high geared petrol auto. Maybe be chasing the impossible have another 18" of air intake hose from another car I could add on.
