LRR makes a bigger difference on an EV/hybrid than on a conventional vehicle.
Not only less energy to drive down the road, but more can be recovered when slowing through regen if its not being lost to the tires. Plus, every time you release the accelerator, you stop "burning" energy, so the sooner you can release (to make use of longer coasting ability), the better.
I noticed a good bump in efficiency in the ForkenSwift back when I put worn RE92's on it, and it didn't even have regen.
