My Insight was rear-ended about a decade ago. Likewise, damage was mostly cosmetic. Replaced the broken taillight assembly, and am still driving it. Figured the $5K I finally (after almost a year of fighting) got from the guy's insurance would do better in my bank account than an auto body shop :-)
