18?! How does my wife register 14.xx for an average?! Well I guess her schoolyear routine does involve school dropoffs, that's most of her trips. School is close and I get around 18-22 in an unpolished routine for that when I'm home. 4800lbs is 4800lbs, and I barely drive it.
Civic is worth about 38 doing school routine, and by the math with my current 45.5mpg avg:
(45.5/38)x20 = ~24mpg. So I'm not that far off after
accounting for power steering, which I lack, and manual vs. automatic.
