Coastdown procedure is formalized in SAE Handbook.The handbooks are published every year.Protocols can change or be augmented each year.My copy is from 1987.Volume 3 contains SAE Recommended Practice,SAE J1263 MAY84,"Road Load Measurement And Dynamometer Simulation Using Coastdown Techniques".------------------------ The coastdown portion is covered in 2-1/2 pages of small print.This is what CAR and DRIVER used for the coastdowns on my CRX.----------------------------- Let me know if you can gain access to the title.If not,we'll go to plan-B.--------------------------------- The on-line calculator may be an easier route.Don't know.
