Question Hmm.... I wonder if anyone envies "efficient" US powertrain choices...

"The US doesn't get efficient powertrain options available elsewhere" is a common refrain heard around here.

It seems like the base (or only) engine options available in many North American spec vehicles are at least mid-range engines in other markets.

I wonder: is it possible there may be ecomodders in some other countries in the world who look at the US market and wish they could get such efficient powertrains?

EG. does Toyota spec all Corollas in Dubai with V6's?
